During his time in Congress, Congressman Boswell has voted to end the marriage penalty six times, voted to increase and expand the child tax credit, and eliminate the inheritance tax. Leonard has also supports providing targeted tax credits to expand educational opportunities, and has voted for tax credits to invest in renewable energy technologies such as wind, solar, and geo-thermal power.
